DENTAL ASSISTING AS A PROFESSION…

UNC Dental Assisting Program

The dental assistant is a responsible and valuable member of the dental health care team. A graduate from the UNC Dental Assisting Program is prepared for employment opportunities in general and specialty dental offices as well as in public health, hospital and dental school clinics. The growth of the dental health field assures an excellent employment outlook for the future.

The UNC Dental Assisting Program is looking for applicants who:

  • Are team-oriented and enjoy working with people
  • Want to complete training in a short period of time
  • Have good hand/eye coordination
  • Seek satisfaction in caring for others

Financial aid is available and no SAT is required for admission.
