DDS Course Policies

Attendance at Meetings

Students are encouraged to participate in organized dentistry through attendance at local, state, national, and international meetings. However, the following regulations govern such absences from the School of Dentistry:

• the Office of Academic Affairs must be informed at least three weeks in advance,
• scheduled examinations cannot be missed,
• curriculum material missed is the responsibility of the student,
• no additional clinics will be made available,
• instructors will not schedule make-up time,
• provision for appropriate patient care must be arranged, and
• funding for such travel is not the responsibility of the School of Dentistry.
