Patient Care

Students enrolled in the School of Dentistry must be attentive to the commonly accepted obligations of the dental profession with respect to humane and considerate treatment of patients. Students are expected to assume major responsibility for all assigned patients and pursue their treatment in an expeditious and professional manner. Actions or statements, written or verbal, that are inconsistent with the usual standards of professional care and that reflect a poor attitude toward patients may be grounds for dismissal.
