2008 DENTAL RESEARCH IN REVIEW AWARD COMPETITIONS

During registration for DRR Day, you must indicate that you want to compete for these awards. THIS YEAR THERE WILL BE A LIMIT OF "ONE AWARD PER INDIVIDUAL."

SRG Bawden Awards:  Awards for excellence are presented by the UNC-SRG to student oral/poster competitors in various categories as judged by SRG teams.  You must apply and submit an abstract to compete for these awards.

NC-AADR Turner Awards:  You must indicate during registration that you want to compete for these awards.  These are awards for excellence are presented by the NC-AADR to student oral/poster competitors in various categories as judged by faculty teams.  Pre-dental, DA, DH, DDS, MS, and PhD students are eligible to compete for these awards.

Henry Schein Inc. Award for Excellence in Student Research: This new award for 2008 is supported by Henry Schein Inc. and is for travel expenses. The honor will be presented to a student oral/poster competitor based on SRG judging for research project creativity, feasibility and potential significance to oral health research. 

NC-AADR Travel Awards:  Only SRG members are eligible to compete for this award.  Awards for travel are presented by the NC-AADR to student oral/poster competitors based on SRG judging for research project creativity, feasibility, and potential significance to oral health research.  You must apply and submit an abstract to compete for these awards.
