The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill seeks to fill two full-time tenure, clinical track, or fixed term positions in the Department of Endodontics at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level. The Department of Endodontics in the UNC School of Dentistry is an integral part of the Chapel Hill campus and community and is imbedded with the Health Affairs Schools of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Public Health, and several prestigious research centers.

Candidates must have a DDS/DMD or equivalent degree and must have completed an advanced education program in Endodontics. Eligibility for or certification by the American Board of Endodontics is desirable. The successful candidate should be either a clinician with potential for clinical scholarly activity or a clinician-scientist with a doctoral degree (PhD or equivalent). Candidates who can demonstrate a record of scholarly teaching, combined with either broad clinical experience and/or success in obtaining extramural support, are encouraged to apply. Teaching responsibilities are in the undergraduate, graduate and continuing education programs. Participation in research and in the intramural dental faculty practice is expected. Salary and rank will be commensurate with experience and training.
