Welcome to the Department of Pediatric Dentistry. The mission of our department is to improve the oral health care of infants, children and adolescent's including those with special health care needs. To fulfill its mission the department is involved in a diverse range of teaching, service, and research activities. These activities are completed by a dedicated and professional faculty, staff, fellows and students that work together at many different levels in both the university and community settings.

It is our goal to generate an academic atmosphere that develops and supports leadership in our faculty, staff and students and one that advances oral health care for children. Success in establishing this goal is reflected in the many leadership roles filled by members of the department in the areas of teaching, clinical care and other areas of service, and research.
