The Department of Pediatric Dentistry at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill offers a three year graduate program. This program offers both a certificate and a degree conferred by the University. The most popular degree options are the Master of Science in Dentistry, the MPH and the PhD. There is no certificate only option at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The program is approved and accredited by the Council on Dental Education of the American Dental Association. The Department is one of three Maternal and Child Health Centers for Leadership in Pediatric Dentistry Education in the United States and the only Center in the Atlantic Seaboard region.
