| PRESS RELEASE: November 20, 1998 |
San Antonio, Texas - Dr. Greg Essick (associate professor in Prosthodontics) and 3 other faculty members from the UNC Craniofacial Center received an award from the Association of Speech, Hearing and Language at its annual meeting in San Antonio, Texas on November 20, 1998. The award was given for the best research article of 1997 in the field of speech science and speech pathology. Dr. Essick authored the award winning article with Dr. Donald Warren, Dr. David Zajec and Dr. Robert Mayo.
