Traveling on I-85 North (from Greensboro):

1. At the I-85/I-40 split follow I-40 East to Chapel Hill.

2. Follow the directions below.

Traveling on I-40 East (from Greensboro)

1. From I-40 take Exit #266 for Hwy. 86 South to Chapel Hill. Highway 86 becomes MLK Blvd. (formerly known as Airport Road) as you enter Chapel Hill.

2. You will travel approximately four miles.

3. Pass through traffic lights at Rosemary Street, Franklin Street and Fraternity Court. The next light is Cameron Street. You will see the Carolina Inn in front of you.

4. Turn right on Cameron Street and be ready to make an almost immediate left onto Pittsboro Street. (Pittsboro Street is a one-way street. There will be two left turn lanes. See map below.)

5. Turn left onto Pittsboro Street.

6. Follow Pittsboro Street three blocks until it splits. Veer to the left. You will be at the South Columbia Street and Manning Drive traffic light.

7. Go straight through the traffic light onto Manning Drive. The School of Dentistry Complex is on the left corner. (See star on the map.)

8. Go to the third traffic light and take a right onto East Drive. (See map on main page.)

9. Park in the Dogwood Visitor's Parking Deck on the right, directly across the street from UNC Hospitals and diagonally across from the School of Dentistry complex. A skywalk connects the Dogwood Deck through the 3rd level Cardinal Employee Parking Deck and to the School of Dentistry complex. There are shuttle stops along the 3rd level route.

10. Parking is $6.00 a day. Parking in other campus areas is prohibited.
