Hunt/Turner Farewell Reception

Around 125 faculty, staff and friends gathered at the Kenan Center, Aug. 25, 1998 to bid farewell to Associate Dean Sharon Turner and Associate Dean Ron Hunt. The two will be assuming new positions as dental school deans at Oregon State Health Sciences University and the Virginia Commonwealth School of Dentistry, respectively.

During their tenures, both made significant contributions to the Dental School and the dental profession. Although the moment was bittersweet as the School and members of the University community realized their loss, attendees experienced a lovely evening and a moment to treasure the significant contributions made by the two future deans. Dean Stamm and the entire Dental School wished both Dr. Turner and Dr. Hunt the best as they leave to assume new positions at prestigious universities.
