Faculty Recognized at NCDS Meeting

Four faculty members were recognized at the recent annual meeting of the North Carolina Dental Society at Myrtle Beach.

L'Tanya Bailey was recognized for service on the Governors' task force on access to care and for her role as president of the Old North State Dental Society. John Sowter was presented the "Outstanding Faculty Member" award from the American College of Dentists as voted by the UNC Class of 1999.

Theodore M. Roberson, was elected an ADA delegate. He was also elected a director on the UNC Dental Alumni Board. Ray White received the prestigious the "Distinguished Service Scroll Award, the highest award bestowed by the dental society.
