Three Faculty Named American College of Dentists Fellows
Three members of the School of Dentistry Faculty have been named fellows in the American College of Dentists. Drs. Dennis Hillenbrand, clinical associate professor in oral and maxillofacial surgery, Linda Levin, assistant professor in endodontics, and Mary Pettiette, clinical associate professor in endodontics were honored during the college's annual meeting in Honolulu, Hawaii October 7.
The American College of Dentists was founded in 1920 to recognize dentists who have made significant contributions to the advancement of dentistry. The mission of the American College of Dentistry is to promote excellence, ethics, and professionalism in dentistry. Fellowship in the college is by invitation and based on demonstrated leadership and contribution to the dental profession and society. Approximately 3.5 percent of dentists are fellows of the college.
