Associates Day A Success

Eighty-five students and practitioners participated in the second Associates Day October 30 at the Friday Continuing Education Center. Dean John Stamm and UNC Dental Alumni President Dale Finn welcomed the group. Roger Hill from the Blair, McGill, and Hill Group presented "Associateships as an Option." His presentation allowed students and practitioners to learn about the expectations of the associate and the practitioner in an associateship. Following the morning program, attendees met for lunch to discuss individual opportunities. Mr. Blair addressed questions generated during lunch at the afternoon session. Associates Day was established by the 1998-99 Dental Alumni Board in response to alumni who wanted to meet students considering an associateship.
