James Eagle Jr., is the first recipient of the North Carolina Academy of General Dentistry's "The Distinguished Service Award." He is a clinical professor and director of comprehensive care program in department of diagnostic sciences and general dentistry. Eagle received the award February 26 at the Sheraton Imperial in Durham. The award recognizes his achievements and service to dentistry. He is a 1966 graduate of the school.
