Hinman Scholarships Awarded

Pre doctoral students Rebecca Bolling '01 and Bradley Ryan '02 and dental hygiene student Laurie Voorhies DH '00 received $2,000 scholarships from the Thomas P. Hinman Dental Society in Atlanta March 25. The awards are based on academic performance and need.

The Hinman Society has been promoted continuing education in the dental profession since its founding in 1912. It began granting scholarships to dental students in 1986 and added hygiene students in 1989. Nearly $175,00 scholarship money was given this year. Each dental school determines the individuals who receive the award.
