Dental Assisting Program Hosts National Workshop

The Dental Assisting program at the School of Dentistry hosted its First National Dental Assisting Educators Workshop August 9-11, 2000. Ninety-six dental assisting educators from around the country gathered at the Friday Center and the School of Dentistry to update their knowledge and skills and to discuss changes and challenges in dental assisting education for the 21st century. Plenary sessions, small group seminars and hands-on laboratories highlighted the event. The workshop will be presented again in 2002.
