Sucessful ADEA and AADR Meetings

A number of faculty and students participated in the ADEA and AADR meetings in Chicago last week. Students returned home with leadership roles in both organizations and accolades for research projects. At the ADEA, Nicole Scheffler '02, was elected chair of the council of students and Anita Jones-McKenzie, '02 was elected member-at-large. Both will serve on the ADEA Administrative Board. At the AADR meeting, Armin Abron '02 was elected president of the National Student Research Group. Three students received student research fellowships: Nicole Scheffler, '02, Armin Abron, '02 and Halley White '03. Steven Offenbacher, professor in periodontology, was recognized for his successful tenure as president of the IADR. Congratulations!!
