Murrah Receives Award

Valerie Murrah, professor and chair in the department of diagnostic sciences and general dentistry, received the Outstanding Faculty Award from the Carolinas section of the American College of Dentists at the recent ACD-ICD lunch during the North Carolina Dental Society meeting at Myrtle Beach. The award is given to a School of Dentistry faculty member who has demonstrated high ethical standards during the academic year (2000-01). The graduating class nominates faculty members and votes on the recipient.
