Tiwana Named New Director of Urgent Care Services

Karen Tiwana, DDS joined the School of Dentistry faculty in September as director of Urgent Care Services and clinical assistant professor in the department of Diagnostic Sciences and General Dentistry. Born in Canada, Tiwana received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Alberta in 1996, her DDS from Northwestern University in Chicago in 2000 and a GPR certificate from the Denver Health Medical Center in Colorado this year. Her brother Paul is the Chief Oral and Maxillofacial resident at the school.
