Devlin Named Director of Division of Public Health

School of Dentistry graduate Leah Devlin DDS, MPH, has been appointed director of the Division of Public Health. She has served as acting state health director since May. Devlin began her career as a public health dentist. She spent ten years as Wake County Health Director, and joined the Division of public health in 1996. She has held a variety of positions at the state level. She also received an undergraduate degree and a masters in public health from UNC-Chapel Hill.
