Trope Resigns as Chair, Levin Named Acting Chair

Martin Trope, J. Freedland Professor and chair of the department of endodontics, has resigned as chair but will remain on the faculty. Trope came to the School of Dentistry nine years ago from Temple University where he was chair of the department of endodontics.

Linda Levin, assistant professor in endodontics, has been appointed acting chair, effective March 1, 2002. A 1984 graduate of the school, she also received a certificate in endodontics in 1985. She received a PhD in 1995 from the UNC-Chapel Hill.
