Trope, professor in the department of endodontics, recently received the
Louis I. Grossman Award at the annual meeting of the American Association
of Endodontists in Chicago. The award "recognizes an author for cumulative
publication of significant research studies that have made an extraordinary
contribution to endodontics". The award has been given only five times
in the last 10 years.
