Sue Felton Named Vice President of the Association for Continuing Dental Education (ACDE)Sue Felton, Manager of the Continuing Dental Education program for the
UNC School of Dentistry was elected Vice President of the Association
for Continuing Dental Education on August 12, 2003 at the ACDE annual
session in Charleston, South Carolina. The ACDE is the organization of
continuing dental education providers associated with dental schools in
the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico. The ACDE was founded in 1991
when two regional associations merged to provide a single forum for cooperation,
collaboration and mutual support among directors of university-based CDE
programs. The goal of the ACDE is to encourage and advance professional
interest in Continuing Dental Education, promote lifelong learning for
dental professionals and to assure high standards in Continuing Dental
Education courses offered by schools of dentistry, and thus foster the
