Dave Brunson Retires

On August 29, Dave Brunson, Assistant Dean for Predoctoral Education will
retire after 21 years at the School of Dentistry.
The faculty and staff in the Office of Academic Affairs along with family
members, friends and colleagues gathered at the Carolina Inn this week to
bid farewell and wish Dave all the best as he embarks on the next phase of
his career. While his final plans have not yet gelled, Dr. Brunson
will be exploring opportunities in the Washington, DC area. One thing is
for sure, he won't be idle. He has plans to analyze the many years of
admissions and student affairs data he has gathered and hasn't had time to
process. The UNC School of Dentistry will certainly miss Dr. Brunson
and hope he will stop by when he visits his family who live in North
Carolina.
