Continuing Education/AHEC leadership

To build upon the School's outstanding tradition in Continuing Dental Education and Area Health Education Center (AHEC) programming, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Sue Felton as Director, Continuing Education and AHEC for the UNC School of Dentistry.  This appointment will be effective 1 January 2004.  In her new capacity, Ms. Felton and her staff will also be responsible for the School's recently developed "dental institutes" program.  In her new leadership position, Ms. Felton will work under the direction of Dr. Ken May.  The CE/AHEC telephone numbers will remain as they are, and the Program's offices will remain on the fourth floor of Brauer Hall.  This organizational change relates to the elevation of Ms. Sharon Grayden as the Director of the School's new Center for Educational Development and Informatics.

We are confident Ms. Felton, working with the experienced CE/AHEC staff, the School's CE Advisory Committee, and the North Carolina AHEC leadership, will provide the energy and focus to further enhance the UNC School of Dentistry's reputation as one of the nation's premier dental CE/AHEC organizations.  Please welcome Ms. Felton to her new position, and give her your fullest cooperation.
