Nearly 500 School of Dentistry staff, faculty,
family, and friends enjoyed an evening at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park (DBAP)
on Thursday, July 8. The Dental Foundation of North Carolina provided each
faculty and staff member with two game tickets, which also included dinner
(hot dogs, fried chicken and all the fixings) in Homer’s Landing at the DBAP.

The DFNC provided the evening at the DBAP as a
way to say thank you to our faculty and staff members who work diligently
every day for the School of Dentistry.
“We wanted to do something to show our staff
and faculty members how much we appreciate all they do,” Dean John Stamm
said. “Their hard work ensures our School’s continued standing as one of
the country’s best. We’re grateful to each and every one.”

Oh, and in case you’re wondering, the Durham
Bulls defeated the Rochester Redwings to cap off the evening.
The “Evening at the DBAP” could become an
annual event.
