On April 20 Dr. Robert E. Bass, DDS 1967, presented Dr. John Stamm with a replica Old Well bird feeder in honor of Stamm's 16-year tenure as dean of the School of Dentistry.  Bass retired from private practice in High Point, but he volunteers on a mobile dentistry unit, providing dental care for school children five days a week.  Two of Bass' bird feeders were on display at the Carolina Inn's "Birdhouses on Parade" from March 13-April 3.  Bass and his wife, Janie, are the parents of 1995 DDS graduate Dr. Lee Bass Nunn, who practices in High Point.
